Grand Prix 1956 VHS - Description
A selection of memorable races in colour and black and white from the TT mountain, clypse and Ulster circuits. In the Senior TT John Surtees was favourite to win his first TT but the Guzzi team of Bill Lomas, Ken Kavanagh and Dickie Dale hoped to offset the MV star’s speed advantage by running the race non-stop. BMW, Norton & Matchless also feature. The Ulster Grand Prix gathered a full grid of works and private riders. This film shows action from the 350, 500 and sidecar races featuring Bob McIntyre, Geoff Duke, Jack Brett, Walter Zeller, John Hartle, Frank Perris, Bob Brown, Arthur Wheeler, Reg Armstrong and Fritz Schiedegger.
