Machines of the Centennial Classic VHS - Description
From the humble to the exotic, from one-off prototypes to the ultimate racing machines - they were all at Assen in May '98. Present were Honda with their 2-, 4- and 6-cylinder machines from the 1960s, Yamaha with 125-V4 and 250-V4 water-cooled machines, Jawa and CZ. Fans were spoilt for choice as MVs, Benellis, Nortons, Moto Guzzis, Suzukis and more were fired up in the paddock and then drowned out by the DKW 3-cylinder 2-stroke 'Kompressor'! Studio shots of each machine in profile and an extensive selection of archive footage of these machines in their heyday features with authoritative commentary exploring some of the technical wizardry on display.
