The Champions series would be incomplete without fifteen times World Champion Giacomo Agostini. In 1965 Count Agusta signed up Agostini and Mike Hailwood to ride his magnificent MV machines. The on-track battles between these two friendly rivals - especially when Mike switched to the mighty Honda team after one season - are legendary. By 1974 Ago switched to Yamaha and simply kept on winning. He was 500cc World Champion for 7 years (‘66-’72) in succession and 350 Champion for another 7 (‘68-’74).
