Only a limited number of the magazine-size, 32-page catalogues were printed for the Staying the Course exhibition, making them hugely sought after as well as a fascinating journey through 100 years of the Isle of Man TT.
The massively popular exhibition, which ran from the start of the Centenary TT in late May until mid-September 2007, focused on the people – the riders, fans, marshals, organisers and more – who made the event what it is, and many of those stories are recounted in this high-quality catalogue.
The visionary Lord Raglan, who paved the way for the event we all know and love, the German star Georg Meier, the legendary Geoff Duke, King of the Road Joey Dunlop and 13-times TT winner John McGuinness – they are all here, plus many, many more.
The catalogue is packed with fabulous photos of the heroes of the TT, plus many of the incredible exhibits that made Staying the Course one of the Centenary TT’s biggest attractions – including the hip flask handed to Rem Fowler to mark his victory during the first ever TT in 1907 and the burned-out wreckage of 13-times TT winner Dave Molyneux’s 2006 sidecar outfit.
