This book chronicles such classic 1960s Harley-Davidson motorcycles as the XLCH Sportsters, Duo Glides, Electra Glides, Aeronautica Macchi models, Panheads and Shovelheads. Special attention is given to the introduction of the Sportster's entrance into the decade as the world's pre-eminent superbike and how it lost that status mid-decade with the emergence of Japanese marques.
