This documentary looks at the art of Parkour, where brave athletes make a series of breathtaking leaps over rooftops and various obstacles. The basic concept is to move through space in the most efficient manner possible, and in the fastest time. Though aesthetically similar, this practice differs from Free Running in that it doesn't allow for showy acrobatic manoeuvres; it's more about economy of movement than creative expression. Done well, both techniques should appear graceful, effortless, and inspire a sense of liberation.
